Skunked today on Truman

Beautiful weather, light wind, boats everywhere. Drove across the dam and below the Observation building, had to be about 15 boats, 35 feet apart !!!!! Three boats boats in the Dead water channel and several kayaks in there!!!!!!! Tried the variety pack, couldn't get a bite or a nibble on anything even with Crappie Nibbles. Never seen anybody jerking. Not even a dink was seen today. Water temp was 36.6 bait at 32-36 ftw. PITIFul day for me. Came home , waiting for Smithville ice out this coming week. Should be open Tuesday or Wednesday. Got skunked with a smile, it was very nice today on Truman even if I did end up fishless !!!!!!!!!!!

Same thing happen to me to day but the guy in the back of my boat did catch 2 nice ones.

It will be much better soon! Did better than setting at home. Those kind of days make me study harder!
