Pictures of Smithville today showed all docks were iced up / in. And I don't see any postings from Truman today, and I know it had to be thick down there because the weather was SOOOOOOOOOOO nice and it's the weekend? However, I am leaving for Truman in the morning and I will post and tell what I seen when I get back home.
Sloooooow today. Ice this morning all gone by 1:00. Water temperature 36 out of state park. Did I say slooooooow ?
It's all open up the grand except in some coves/pockets that are wind protected. Should all be time by Tuesday at the latest and the bite should be good by next weekend. The fish are deeper than I like to fish but we caught them today rigging.
