Some was asking how I made lift for xi5 so here are some pics,I did not put any holes in TM ,2 brackets bolts to a pieces of angle metal with holes on each side where the pins for latch to TM and a plate sets flat to TM turn box,the 2 brackets must be thin in order to slide between motor when it is let down

About the transducer,I tilted it so it shoots parallel to water so I could get a good shot under docks with my 998 ,they shoot on a angle so if I want to see far under dock it had to be change,it is on a switch where I flip switch and back to normal with unit then flip switch and other ducer that shoots parallel takes over
So why is the TD on right mounted backwards, from what I remember there isn't a flip for that in the menu like lowrance.
WILBUR,I ONLY USE ONE SIDE AND THE RIGHT SIDE IS BAD SO I TURN IT AROUND SO I COULD SEE FROM RIGHT SIDE WHEN LOOKING UNDER DOCKS,DO LOOK WEIRD BUT IT WORKS

NO TOM,IT IS EXTRA DUCER AND I FLIP A SWITCH FOR THAT DUCER

Now that found the other thread it all makes sense......I like the can do attitude and can see where the trolling motor remote lift would be very handy when moving around
