Chickamauga Lake 3-7-15

I finally got a hall pass to go fishing! Put in this am around 9ish and fished until about 1:00 pm. Beautiful weather. Blue sky and and not much of a wind. The water temp. was 43* reaching up to 45* in the back of sloughs.

After all the bad weather we have had over the past few weeks it was just enjoyable getting on the water. The boat ran smooth just like the water surface. You never know if all is going to go alright after being off the water for the last month. Looking forward to the spring bite.

I mostly fished with a single pole. The best fish came off a 1/32 oz. BGBS with a Blue Ice color.

Glad you got out Kingfish. Been sneaking out some myself, and had a very good day a couple of weeks back. Cabin fever isn't as bad as I have been in past years. Warmer weather soon.

This month, bucket list, we are fishing....gonna call ya soon.....SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!

Good you got out. Very wet on this side of the state. Maybe will dry out in a couple of weeks. It is time to get out. This rain should warm the water temps up some. Crappie will be moving. Hope to get out soon.
