Oconee 3-6-15
Started fishing around 10 this morning. Fish were tight to the bottom in 20-25 ft of water. Picked up one here and there and then they started to move up in the water column. Just when things were starting to pick up, they started to generate and the fish disappeared. Left the lake around 5:30 with 20 11 inch+ fish in the live well and 4 others that were donated to me. Nothing any different from this passed Monday other than the water temp was 52-53 today and the lake was stained more from the recent rains.

today was totally different. Biggest day I have ever seen on Oconee!!!! hundreds of crappie were boated today, maybe a thousand hahahahahahah

Two fish to hand this afternoon spider rigging minnow tipped jigs in 9-11 feet of water. We had a few other soft bites but failed to connect. Water temp ranged from 52 to 55 degrees.

They are moving into the shallow flats, the smallest horizontal fish at top of pic was 10.25 inches. Saw 60F water today.

Bull, I added all the fish up that I am pretty certain was caught and from what I know, close to 400 fish that were caught yesterday. Of course there were probably 30 or more boats that I never spoke with
