Farrington Pt. Question
Out of curiosity... Is it okay to park in the lot at the Farrington ramp and walk over to the bridge to fish? I seem to remember a lot (too many) signs there last year or the year before, saying that it was illegal. Not sure if it was saying that it was illegal to park and fish off the ramp itself, or just parking there in general. Don't want to come back to a towed truck, or ticket or anything... Looking at walking over to the bridge on Saturday or Sunday. Thank you.

The ramp is Public, no problem parking in the established parking areas. As for the no fishing signs, I believe it's meant as no fishing on the ramps themselves. Not sure about under the bridge but I have seen many a person fishing there. So if it was me I'd park in the parking area, not fish on the ramps, and wander on over to the bridge and give it a shot. I would also make it a point to have a current fishing license and obey the size restrictions on any kept fish. The Warden may forgive your fishing under the bridge but he/she won't forgive an illegal fish.

I agree with sterkat. Most problems come people blocking the ramp. Fish where and as often as you can.
