I would say it is but then I work for Humminbird! I prefer the Si models though.
What do you want to know? 800v x 480v 7-inch LED backlit LCD, dual memory card slots, dedicated DI sonar (two DI and two 2D sonar frequencies to choose from, networkable,... all of this info is available online at the Humminbird web site.
I GOT A 859 AND I LIKE IT
I just got the 859 tonight had to order from mine bass pro be here in a couple days
I ran an 899 and 998 last season, and I have an 859ci HD to run along side the 899 @ the bow.
