I sat at the feet of RCC...

I was deeply honored to sit and learn at the feet of a true Crappie Master yesterday. Years of crappie fishing wisdom flowed from RCC as he shared some of the most closely guarded secrets of the Crappie Illuminati with me.

I was truly overwhelmed! My skill as a crappie fisherman is sure to have advanced light years beyond where I was before. Then, just when I thought there was nothing left to learn... Carol spoke up and shared some of her crappie catching insights that left even RCC speechless!

Most of what I learned I cannot divulge since I was sworn to secrecy. However I did learn two things that I can share:

First of all, Carol is the true Crappie Master!

Secondly, she lets RCC think that some of the good ideas are his, even when they aren't.

Glad to know that RCC still knows his place and does not speak when Miss Carol speaks up!!! I've been blessed to talk with them a couple of times and I always seem to understand the situation and learn more from Miss Carol than I do her fishing partner.

RCC, you got a great fishing partner!! Think how good of a duck hunter you would be if she duck hunted!! :biggrin

I haven't had that honor yet but look forward to the day I get to meet her......(and him):biggrin

I do know she is a great Crappie catcher and even better cook. The cookies she bakes are wonderful. :biggrin

And I hope you didn't have to look at them. He rarely wears shoes and can climb a tree like a coon. DP

Sounds like Big John Eubanks from Amite County MS. Ain't a tree in the Amite River swamp he can't climb. Well that's according to Jerry Clower anyway.
