Very nice Jackie! How well do the eyes work I been think about using them?
Have not asked the fish yet:biggrin Will give a report.Think they will work great.Wanted a rattle with out adding bulk and weight.Working on a rattling jig like the rockport rattler. They have bulk and weight.Really like modifying jig mold's.Barlows tackle has them(rattle jig's) in a minnow head.
Let us know how the fish like them.
i hope the fish say yes yes oh yeah i got to try some of them and adding rattles does just has to much bulk and weight
Blue Fox use to make a Ratteling jig head for crappie, but not sure about that now! I loved their little jigs they made before that, they were very short and had a short busy skirt material type tail with a plated head! They did well on crappie for me longline trolling! Wish they still made them, but at least I do still have some and have not tried them in 10 years, maybe it's time again, LOL!
nice Jackie them rattling jig should do good
Very nice work!! I used to make some rattle jigs. I simply used the glass rattles from Bass Pro and used thread to wrap it tight to the jig and then i dressed it with flash and chenille. Works great, Don't use that often but they work. Still have some Rockport Rattlers too.
Them should get the job done.
I been thinking about super glue'n rattles to my jig hooks before inserting jig heads into tube baits. wondering if it will make a difference or be tough to accomplish ? It would be cheaper to buy the rattles in bulk if it worked.
