Trout Marabou Proto-types

I am planning on making some jigs for a trip this summer to Lake Tanneycomo and decided to spin up some jigs to use this year. I am trying to make a marabou jig like the guides/resorts use. I am working with a collarless hook while they seem to have a collar on their jigs.

White on the right top 3 wraps of chennile, second 2 wraps. Pink head 2 wraps, pink head no wraps

left: Orange head no wraps, Black 3, 2 wraps, no wraps.

No wrap jigs

Think these will work without the marabou on a collar?

Thanks guys! I just got a package of some new materials and plan to melt some lead today. I will reports back with some new "Trout" colors.

I just tied 10 like that last night. Only differance is I use flashabou 2 or 3 strands on easy side run along where a fish natural lateral line is. Andea e them stick just past the end a bit. Also tied two to e alway but the darker color on the hook side. As jig rides upside down all bait fish are darker on top n lighter on the sides n belly.

Did a little pouring this morning 1/80th-1/8th oz. This should keep me busy for the day! Just got a package from CrazyAngler today so it is like Christmas morning around here!

Here are a couple of the 1/8th oz ones I came up with. I think they should work.
Top: Ginger/light olive marabou, New Penny head
Mid: Olive/Light olive/ ginger marabou. Pumpkin Brown head
bottom 1/32nd, Light olive/ginger marabou, pumpkin brown head

It seems that Olive or Sculpin colored jigs are really popular on Tanneycomo. Hopefully these connect with a lunker this summer!
