Yes. We fish large deep clear lakes where you can see a white jig on bottom in 10 ft of water. We swim the jig through the cover more than we get over cover and jig straight down.(spooks fish) The Bat jig head with the line tye at the front of the head makes this possible.(in line with the hook)(weedless) Before had to use weed guard and with a lite bite(fish swims with bait) miss a lot of fish and lose a lot of jigheads(hanging up) Why We pour our own.Attachment 192559Attachment 192560We really like the 3/32 oz jig head just a little bigger (get deeper) than 1/16 and smaller than an 1/8. With a #4 lil nasty gold hook.The pic's are some crappie caught on the bat jig.

Microlon,base,Flashabou tails,tinsel chenille,sparkle braid neck,chart,silver,gold,orange.
A Lady jig tyer friend of Brenda's showed me these jig colors/patterns said they really caught the crappie on Norfork and Greers(clear water)Attachment 192647. Always tyed and used Feathers(marabou). They have really been good.Have been tying up a few.

Looks really nice Jackie. You have to bend those Lil Nasties? They usually break when I do it. Gold hooks seem to bend better or are you heating them a little?

Heating them on the side of melter with needle nose pliers.Bend just below turn in hook.
