Hi everybody! Getting ready to install my new terrova 80 with I pilot Link and currently have 12V system. My question is: I have to buy another battery and my current battery is a Interstate SRM-27 that is 2 years old. Should I just eat it now and buy 2 new batteries or would I be ok to run new battery and 2 yr old battery?

Id buy 2 new ones just for the peace of mind cause if the older one gets weak or weaker then the new one the performance of the motor will suffer . Plus after a few years when the old one dies and you get another new one you will just repeat the cycle with a Old and new Battery
agree with defiant....you will do yourself a favor buying two new, identical batteries
I have always been told buy at same time and exact same batteries.

Buy 2 new ones, best quality you can afford.
If you have a Battery's Plus , Sams Club , Check out the Duracell brand there Rebadged Deka Batteries Might be a little cheaper then Interstates also .
