Gift Cabbage
All winter long folks have been dropping off cabbage and leaving with citrus and such. Finally after several heads Peggy finally let me smother a pot full. She likes her cabbage still alive and kicking I'd rather smother mine in black iron. Here is the picture filled how I done it post. let us know what ya think about the story.

Looking good. A few years ago we started frying it in a black skillet with a little butter and spices on top of the stove. We don't cook it done. We just wilt it pretty good. Still has a little crunch to it. I like it especially in the summer when can add things from the garden to the meal. Usually brown beans, cucumber, tomatoes, a spring onion, and cornbread. Get back.

My cabbage is trying to head now. I can't wait. That looks good. I like mine browned too but not mushy.
