That might be a good bait for the fall, when they're wanting a bigger bait. I may try that on my bottom hooks and go with Donnie's gnats on the top hooks. The way you rigged that, there won't be any ware on the line.

That was the second creation in the RCC line of DIY fishing lures. Fixing to market these. I'm thinking 3 beads, a #2 hook, a 1/16 jighead, a swivel, and 2 spinner blades for about 8 bucks:Rofl. The possibilites are basically unlimited. Many of you may not have seen my first, the DIY Roadrunner.
