Lake Martin 2-15-15, and some good news for Broussard area boaters.

Made a late afternoon trip, first time putting the boat in there. The parking area was PACKED! I should've taken pics of that, it wasn't all boats, lots of vehicles without trailers, the swamp tours must be popular. The lake is really nice, and while we didn't manage to find any sacs yesterday, we did put a few bass in the boat, that was fun.


Great news for boater's in the Broussard area, the Shell (macro?) truck stop located by the Cade/St Martinville overpass now sells ethanol free marine fuel. I was about to get the regular stuff, when a guy pulled up and told me about their new pump, he said they just installed it.

What kind of boat were you in?

We were in a 16' Procraft, dark grey top, with a red pinstripe, and white underneath.

there is also a shop rite on the corner of west congress and guiibeau that sell non ethanol.
