Annual Bama trip mid march

Have our annual trip from Ohio to Weiss lake lodge planned for mid-March. Will be my 14 year olds first trip to Alabama. We have always in the past long lined Weiss lake and have done fairly well. We really like to fish docks and throw jig-n-bobber / float-n-fly / jig - n - cork ( what ever you wanna call it )........ With that being said is there good options for some single pole action in mid-march either docks or float-n-fly on Weiss or any where close? I know it's likely somewhat dependent on the weather, just looking for some one to point us in the right direction. We usually have all day Friday and Saturday and a few hours Sunday to fish so any input would be very appreciated. Have a great one all and God bless.

I hope the weather will be good for you guys. March is tricky a month could be 70 and the next day lower 50's..All the methods you mentioned above should work good.The night bite has always worked out great for me with minnows, catching crappie on the move to the spawning areas.

Try Mud Creek in March, can be hot or cold depending on weather.
