Looking at all these fish and can't catch em....Attachment 189762
Had to fix my trolling motor mount after a run in with a stump the other day. So I just put in at the cabin and tested everything out. Wish the bait shop down here carried minnows year round...
Sorry bout the trolling motor. Glad you got it fixed.Man that is a pile of fish.Some time there is something that will trigger them fish into biting.High pressure some time shuts them off.Try them as a low pressure cell is going through.Speed up or slow down your presentation.Use different colors on each pole if you're jig fishing.Try minners only.Locate the fish and try casting to them while staying back away to not spook the fish.Fish after several days of warmer weather.If you catch a fish and it is short, don't throw it back. Keep it in your live well so it doesn't spook other fish if you release it after catching it.Have several spots holding fish and move back and forth to those spots. Like us, them fish gotta eat sooner or later.Every minute you spend on the water is a learning experience.Start fishing a little later in the day. Sometime that last hour or 2 will be all the difference. Just my :twocents.That's why they call it fishing.:biggrin
I think I hit them a little late in the day as the water was cooling. I caught most of my fish from 10-2. got on these late in the day... Need to break out the dynamite looks like!
Just hold your head under water a few seconds. All that ugly will make em surrender for sure.

With this bunch if we did that there would be no fish to catch after 1 outing.
