Linking My 2 graphs
I have a humminbird 899 at the console and 859 on trolling motor. How do I link these 2 graphs together? If I do this, when I mark a waypoint on one graph, will it automatically create one on the other graph? Where is a good place to buy one and the best price? May have to PM me about location to buy and best price, so it doesn't turn into an advertisemnet post in this section of C.Com.

You will need 1 Ethernet cable ...(AS EC xE ... Where "x" is the cable length) ...
Humminbird | AS EC 2E
You will need 2 Ethernet adapter cables ...
Humminbird | AS EC QDE
Ethernet allows 1 unit to read and display waypoints from the other unit's library ... Displaying the waypoint in a different color ...
Waypoints are not physically transferred into the other unit library ...
Both units have to be powered on and set to share waypoint data ...
If you mark a waypoint on a specific unit and then power off that unit ... The remaining "powered on" unit can no longer "see" that waypoint from the "powered off" unit ...
Contact the board sponsors for pricing ...

Oh ok AWESOME! I get it now. Now another question. Can I buy just a regular ethernet cable from Wal-mart, or like store locally and buy adapters to plug into my units? Where do I buy the adapters? And will the adapters be labeled "for 859 or 899"?

LowePro, I did same earlier with my two HB units. The Ethernet cable is not what you would use on a computer. They have screw on water tight connections. Your going to love sharing waypoints. I use my SI to explore and mark bush piles, then use shared waypoint on front unit to dial in. Once I find it, I will mark on front unit.
BTW this is much easier to do than you think. Just get parts mentioned above.

The AS-EC-QDE Ethernet Adapter Cable will fit either the 859 or 899 units (plus many others), but you will need one for each unit. These adapter cables should be available from Humminbird retailers.
The Ethernet cables that we use have the M12, 8-position type connectors.
