Well I'm not Gomer so I just have a little one.
Attractive While reading the newspaper, I came across an article about a beautiful actress and model who married a boxer who was not noted for his IQ.
"I'll never understand," I said to my wife, "why the biggest jerks get the most attractive wives."
My wife replied, "Why, thank you, dear."

The explanation:
People do not decline mentally with age, it just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains, scientists believe.
Much like a computer struggles as the hard drive gets full up, so to do humans take longer to access information, it has been suggested.
Researchers say this slowing down it is not the same as cognitive decline.
The human brain works slower in old age, said Dr. Michael Ramscar, but only because we have stored more information over time.
The brains of older people do not get weak. On the contrary, they simply know more.
Also, older people often go to another room to get something and when they get there, they stand there wondering what they came for.
It is NOT a memory problem, it is nature's way of making older people do more exercise.

I went out to the shop to get something. When I got out there I forgot what I came to get. Went back in the house and sat down in my recliner and thought of it. Got up, went back to the shop and forgot it again. Never did think of what it was after that. Just figured it wasn't important.

I do this all the time, but it's usually because I get off on another project once I get to the shop, and forget the original reason I went out there.Quote:
