Want to thank a special guide, Genec , for a big day yesterday. I finally got what I been after for years, a 3.05 lb crappie. He puts me on good brush and makes the very best bait found, he also is a great netter. By the way this guide happens to be my hubby. Do love fishing with him. DonG will follow with pictures because I couldn't figure how to post them, Gene still at lake fishing through Fri, Gene and Charlie had a lot of crow to eat .LOL

Great catch, Elaine! Don't give all the credit to the guide. Fish that old aren't stupid--it takes an excellent angler to get one on the hook and keep it on the hook all the way to the net! As your netman, Gene must have been sweating bullets until he had that thing safely out of the water. Congratulations!!
