Caught one female...water temp 55.....5 ft deep in 7 ft water.Attachment 188884Attachment 188885Attachment 188886the choupique broke off...the sacalait was fileted...so the jig is what caught the sac and the shoe pic is representing the one that got away.....trip was saturday....no basketball Danny...sure coulda made it but no communication skills being taught by the rebel basketball team......so I committed to nothing.....went by myself...Zack bailed at the last minute.....

That's one ugly shoe. :)
Was there any water movement? I've used a slip cork with a tube jig of your favorite color and flip it on the upstream side of the pilings and let the current take it around and watch the cork. Work the depth till you find the sweet spot.
Usually you can find some lay-downs down the work canal. The big canal that runs north/ south. There's a run out down a mile or so call King's Ditch that can produce too.
