Anybody know if it is still open to the Public? Any luck there... ever? Looks like Friday is supposed to be pretty nice and the son has school off (when the heck do these kids ever go to school??? :dono). I'd love to tie into some crappie to start the weekend off right.
I believe it is still open. I have not heard otherwise.
Both Marina docks are open.
Last week I heard it was really slow.
But that can change with all these weather fronts moving in and out.

Was bye there today while fishing the lake reports were not good at all. Did not do much good in the lake either wind limited where we could fish. Caught 3 keeps two shorts one white bass not a good day.
They have been catching some fish at Melvern dock, might try that. If you do get there early as there will be a crowd on the weekend
Yes, the Lighthouse Bay Marina in the state park is open. I think they open at 7:30am. 785-828-4777. Not sure if it's iced over or not. I fished there last week when temps were 65-70. Crappie and white bass were biting.
