Still have ice in some of the coves on Pomme, but

managed enough for supper fishing from a public dock. Fish were right on bottom in 12' of water.

Nice mess, funny how some of the smaller lakes still with ice did not see any on LOZ. Our home area lake 57 acres big sheet of ice except 10 to 20 ft from bank. Congrats.

I had 5 people show up and fish 20 or 30 minutes and leave after not catching anything in the 2 hours I was there.

Just read that they are going to drop Pomme 3 ft real soon.Some idiot brought a dock from LOZ and it had zebra mussels on it.They are trying to kill them off before they spread.

I heard that on the news last night, bad deal, hope it works. At least it will be a good time to look for logs and stumps to fish come Spring.

If they drop it 3 ft. you will have trouble finding a place to launch.
