I agree, Dollfly. KY's state record Muskie was caught by a 14yo girl ... and even the state record Crappie was caught by a 30yo mother (on Mother's Day).Quote:

That is an awesome Perch. Would be proud of it. Not to burst a bubble however but the world record perch was caught in May of 1965 and weighed 4lbs 3oz.
Wish the writeup would have been more specific however as I believe it will be a "world record" for ice fishing or a world record for that line catagory. Still an awesome fish and I would be one proud father!
