Just how accurate is the anchoring mode on the xi5? Who has one and how good does it keep you over a brushpile?

Never mind, this sells me.

I got the XI5 and never owned the Ipilot, so I can't compare. But - if the MK was better than XI5, I wouldn't be able to stand it!!!
I have the the Xi5 55 lb on my 1248 jonboat and love it. It does very well except when the winds are blowing real strong. Of course my boat is a flat bottom and only 900 lbs with me in it and any GPS trolling motor would have trouble keeping up with my setup in high winds.
I can tell you my MK iPilot won't do what is in the video. in 10mph wind, you will get blown off 10 ft. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth... Someone needs to work on the PID routine or something. Reaction time is too slow.

will a motor guide xi5 like to a new hummingbird helix 5?
will an xi5 link with a new humminbird helix unit? or does motor guides ONLY link with lowrance?
I don't think a Helix unit has Ethernet and therefore will not link to either.
Xi5 will only link with Lawrence. Minnkota is Humminbird. But as stated the Helix probably won't link at all due to no Ethernet.
