Fished North Saulty for 3 hours with some good luck 8 crappie on jigs with black and pink mix being the best color. Tried minnows also caught some nice cats but the dang Drums were biting also from the 10 to 25lb range fun to catch I guess? Does anyone ever kill Drums? I remember seeing my dad and grandad other fisherman kill them.

I keep them and give them away, some are happy to get them
I did not know Drums were eatable. I have always thought they were too oily?
Drum are eat able, there in the same family with red fish. I have eaten them but it's been years best I remember they where ok
I have ate them myself not bad, but would rather have crappie. All fish is good if you have enough ketchup.
