Hawkeye

Yesterday i was trying my unfounded skills on dock shooting in the back yard since it was so frigid. I was looking at the assortment of rods to use and i picked up one that had a fluke tied to it . Ok i will try this one. As i stood in the doorway of my shed i shot it out the door. No sooner than i shot it, a Hawk flew down and picked it up and started pulling line. WOW what a surprise i thought i had him hooked but fortunately for him he didn't get the bait or hook. He waited in the tree for a while and moved on. At first i thought i had a 3 lb crappie, alas it was only the bird of paradise.http://www.crappie.com/crappie/images/icons/icon11.png

Lol, funny story.
I've tied one of my kid's small stuffed animals to a line before and drug it across the backyard when we saw a hawk perched in a tree. I was reeling as fast I could and that hawk was bound and determined to catch it. After a couple of seconds of chase it saw us and took off. My kids thought that was way cool and keep looking for it to come back.
