Update On My Girl
Okay here's the scoop. Just talked to the surgeon. He is ranked in the top 10 in the USA in his field with over 10000 procedures done. Brenda DID have a light heart attack and has damage to about 10% of her heart. The stint has collapsed and there is about 90% blockage in 2 arteries. They have to wait about a week for the blood thinner to work it's way out of her system to reduce the possibility of excessive bleeding post op. She is gonna have to have a double bypass. Probably gonna be in the hospital for around 10 days to 2 weeks for the pre op and recovery. Then rehab of around. 3 months. The Surgeon is very optimistic and is sure this will last her the rest of her life IF SHE DOES WHAT SHE IS TOLD TO DO! Good luck with that! LOL!!! Hard headed darn woman! :biggrin All prayers will be appreciated! She's in room 737 at Lourdes.

She's gonna do great Terry! It sounds like she's in very capable hands with excellent prospects for the future. I had bypass surgery seven years ago and things couldn't be better! We'll send plenty of prayers! Keep us informed on how she's doing!
