Doesn't resemble country to me. I don't know any one on the country music awards. When you get away from George Jones, Keith Whitley, Ralph Stanley, Emi Lou Harris, String Bean, Lester Flatt, Grand Paw Jones and the like, I am totally lost.
No.........It isn't country it's pop! they think it's country cause they wear cowboy hats and boots...........Country music still does the same crap they did to Hank Jr in the 80's
he was top of the charts for years and years and Nashville just ignored him! Jump on you tube and have a listen to Jamey Johnson pull up him and Leann Womack singing give it away..........
My teen years where saturated with outlaw country....... I respect the older stuff but love , Cash, Nelson, Kristofferson, Jennings......That's country to me.
It's country rap, everyone is doing it, and the younger audience is the one buying, so....
