Public can learn more about fisheries issues in western Kentucky during Jan. 15 meeting
FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will conduct a public meeting Jan. 15 to discuss fisheries issues affecting western Kentucky.
While the primary focus will be on crappie and bass fishing in Barkley and Kentucky lakes, officials will also provide updates on Asian carp, habitat projects, catfish and paddlefish. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife employees also want to hear from the public on these topics.
This meeting is being held at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park Convention Center in Gilbertsville at 7 p.m. (Central time).
