So tell me Skip
Are you feeling any better? Read some of your posts from a week or so back about your face plant and got to wondering. I'm finishing the antibiotics and had the steroid shot and feel better myself but this weather has me nervous. Sorry to hear it got hold of you so bad. Mine was sinus and throat that I started with before Christmas. The steroid shot turned me into a faucet with the stuff draining for 2 days at a rate that really made me wonder where it was all coming from. I had a cough like you describe when I had pneumonia a few years back, had to stop walking to cough or down I went. No fun at all. My brother had bypass surgery just after Christmas and because I was sick I couldn't even visit with him before the work was done. All went well and we all need to mend and get back to it. Hope you're better my friend, stay well cause better fishing is just around the corner.

Well buddy for me it's finally turning better, but made my 3 trip to the Doc Monday and he gave me a big steroid shot and a different antibiotic and more breathing treatments. I still have some issues when I first lay down at night, but less than before. Mine started about the 12th of Dec. and it was a day before I had to take my wife to Corpus, 390 miles each way, stayed one night and back home so didn't get to see the Doc until the next Wednesday because I had a different Doc apt on Tuesday. By that time it was getting rough, but just sinus and throat form the cough, no fever at all. However by Christmas I was feeling better, but then my son came that Friday for a couple days and right about when he got here he started showing symptoms and soon I then started going down again and the cough was different, much worse and that is when I had my face plant. For over a week I hardly could sleep and sure not in bed so had to come to my chair in living room to sleep at all. Was getting maybe 2 to 3 hours a night at best and a few nights, none!
glad to hear you getting better too! All I know is i have had enough, please! Hope no one else gets this stuff!

Glad to hear it. I'm having to work in these low temps we're getting and mostly at night so I dress up like I'm going to fish in 30* temps and head out. I might look like the Michelin man but I'm comfortable. Get better and ready to fish.....Skeet.

Thanks Skeet, I am starting to feel a little better and even have been getting a little hungry the last day or so. Have not really been hungry in over 3 weeks and lost about 8 pounds which I like that part, LOL!
