Onix 10 Question

Should I have a concern that the magnet that holds the cover shut on the SD card slots is only about 1/2" away from the SD cards on the Onix? I know what happens when magnets are near magnetic media and wonder if there should be a concern.

Magnets will wreak havoc on a computer hard drive or tape media, but I believe the SD card is encoded in such a way that a magnet will not mess with it....... at least not as easily......It is not magnetically encoded media.
A little testing may have to be done to prove it one way or the other.

After doing a little research it looks like magnets will not ruin SD cards unless they are really really strong magnets, this is good to know. Guess I should have researched this before posting.

ssd has to have a really strong magnetic field to erase. I have even ran mine thru washer and dryer!
