Nope! Looks like you get double the chance to hook that fish!!! If i was using those I would get hung up so many times!
I like them though.

"Interesting" :ThumbsUp
the more I look at those jigs I'm thinking if that same concept could be applied to like a floating jig head with the bait in between the hooks so as to toss over Lilly pads and other vegetation and not get hung up? :scratchhead
billygee :rolleyes:
What is that mind of yours thinking on these? I see perch double hook jigs but they are spread different.
Gnats too

Didn’t intend to discredit any lead heads , White Flag Icon
Ok, a better enlightenment as to what I was thinking:
I’ve taken a small clear float with a 3’ leader attached a #4 hook floating jig tipped with a 1”worm and had great success with Crappie, Brim, and Bass, nothing on perch yet.
Now maybe the same double hook concept could be applied to a floating jig. :dono
billygee :rolleyes:
I'm still undecided about these hooks. They look like they would find every piece of wood in the water to hang onto. I fish very close the brush and these would maybe double the number of jigs I lose a year.
The Gnats look great.
like em looks good!! We made our for the hybrid stripers! In our lake should work on crappie with a wire weed guard!! The wire weed guard deflects off of brush creating an injured bait look!! or something trying to get away Deadly!! Have been fishing these around the stuned or injured bait fish!! The hybrids will tear your arm off!! When they hit these baits!! My brother in law used them on in the grass of ouachita for bass!!!
My Brother inlaw got some for christmas and said the bait store he bought them at could not keep them stocked!! Asked me if I could make them!! these are the results!! With gold hook's and wire weed guard!! He use them in lake ouachita in the coontail moss and brush!! We have been using them to catch hybrid striper's open water!! When you hook a fish(hybrib striper) better have good line!!!
Real easy to make just lay one hook on top of the other and pour the lead!!We cut the line tie eye off of the bottom hook add the bait keeper and wire weed guard!! Run the two hooks through grub or tube spread hook as desired good fishing!!! Just like fishing a frog hook in a floating frog for bass!!!
