Repair manuals
Which repair manuals would you recommend? I have a '04 50hp yamaha, f50tlrc. Looking like I need to pull the carbs and clean them, then do a sinc&linc. Will any repair manual work? Chil ton, seloc, any other?
Also, for the sinc and Linc, will the gauge (4 port) from carb tune.com work?

I'm not a Yamaha guy......... But I don't think you can beat The factory service manuals, for sure would stay away from seloc
You might want to go here and see if they have your motors factory manual, you can view the entire manual just like a online book for free
Boatinfo - The library, containing manuals, brochures and other technical documents from the last hundred years!

Factory service manuals cost a lot more but are worth every cent. Free manuals on line are pretty rare and illegal in most cases due to copy write laws. Unless Yamaha has come up with something new you don't need a gauge for doing a link & sync. All my experience with outboards is with older models.

Just to be clear.......There is nothing illegal about the link I posted above, They are NOT available for download view only.

I have bought all my factory service manuals from sellers on eBay. I use the online versions for fast references and looking up parts numbers when I'm not at home. I've never been a fan of the Seloc or other third party outboard manuals.
