Ain't been a good day for the state of Mississippi in bowl games.

Both Mississippi teams had nice seasons with some wins to be proud of. Losing your bowl game just kinda gives both teams a sour end to those nice seasons.
Look at what Arkansas went through right up until November. Same old disappointing "can't win an SEC game" Hogs! We had another disappointing season until they got it all together against LSU and that big win propelled us to another big win the next week against the Rebels. Becoming bowl eligible was HUGE for Arkansas and their fans. Drawing Texas was an immediate high for us. That was definitely a winnable game that sold out quickly. Arkansas didn't win THE big one this year, but we won A big one for us with lots of sentimental meaning. Down with the Horns!
Next year should be great.......for all of us in the SEC West. We could ALL be ranked in September, even ole sorry Arkansas. GTT
Thats football, period. bad as I hate to say it Auburn is playing a good game! Mississippi has nothing to be ashamed of, playing on New Years Eve is always a good thing. TCU is a class act and played one heck of a game, GT handled the pups pretty good too, got to be a looser and MS came out on the short in in both games. Hope the rest of the SEC teams playing can make a good showing.
