Who has a transducer Installed on their ipilot. How is it going for you. what are the pro and cons being that there is a wirer thst you have to pay attention too. As for as turning etc.

Who has a transducer Installed on their ipilot. How is it going for you. what are the pro and cons being that there is a wirer thst you have to pay attention too. As for as turning etc.
I've had one on my terrora for the last four years. I have had no problems but I do watch for a magnetic spin that could break the cable. I keep the wire very loose where it comes out from the shaft. I have mine run in the slot of the terrova.
I have mine in the groove that fun up the shaft. Go to you tube and check out video. It took me 8 hours start to finish and don't have wires wrapped around shaft anymore.
