I'll be working near Elizabethtown for a couple weeks, not much to do when out of town and work is done, what would be a good place to go bank fishing in the evenings? Can I get a week long non resident fishing license?
Thanks in advance.

Ashman, you can purchase a 7 day non-resident license for $30, a 15 day for $40 or an annual for $50. Can't help much on bank fishing opportunities nearby. Think there is a small lake called Freeman close and Nolin and Rough River Lakes would be the closest reservoirs. Sometimes fishing below the spillways this time of year produce some good fishing.
Don't waste your time at Freeman Lake in Etown. I lived there for six years and the lake is mismanaged and overfished. For bank fishing in the winter I always liked driving to Nolin and walking the creek banks as the lake has been drawn down. You can cast small plastics and light jigs worked slow and sometimes clean up on bass.
Good info, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the help, much appreciated!
