Rice Bran Oil

Santa happened to drop a new Cajun fryer off at my place this xmas, oh yeah! I'm leaning on trying the Riceland oil. Anyone else switched to using this over other oils?

What is the cost comparison to peanut oil and does it have a comparative flash point ?

Rice oil is higher priced but has a higher smoke point and rice oil is suppose to be healthier for you.

I'm going to try it if I can find it close to home.

I have used it, but at times it hard to find. I use it when I can get it.

Never used the rice oil but have heard good things about it. I use peanut oil and like the taste of my food with it.

You're gonna Really Like that cooker!!!!!! What size is it? Mine is the 4 gallon or small one.

Thanks everyone for the info, Riceland Oil it is. BRM its the 4 gallon model, probably a little too big for my needs but hey will be great for gatherings. Now all I have to do is catch enough fish to make good use of it. That's the hard part...
