How to make your own wooden crappie cranks!!

We started making lures back in the late 70'early 80's I Bought the first lead mold still have it today and still in use!! Started making bass and crappie tubes by dipping a pencil in to melted plastic (reused) and (cutting the tails) worms (Creme worms),(still do this (dipping rods)spinnerbaits,painting crankbaits ect for bass fishing!! Now into the crappie world!! Has been fun,Now making baits because we cannot find baits made for the clear water we fish in our home lake!! Most crappie fishing is done in dingy to stained water 5-10 is deep we are fishing 10-50 ft!! Thanks too all the Crappie.com folks!! We are starting to learn crappie fishing!!

Attachment 183475Attachment 183476Attachment 183477 Bought these molds at Trader Bills in hot Spring'sin my early days of tour fishing to use on homemade bass tubes to fish the coontail moss of Lake Ouachita and Degray!! hilts and first do-it molds!! We found out they would catch crappie also and good crappie!!

Look as good as anything out of the factory and I'm betting they fish better too.
