remodeled house

We had my parent house remodeled over the last year. We finally got to move in this last weekend. Well still a few things to move. We just moved across a hay field and the other house will for son and daughter in law to use if they want so no big hurry on getting things out. WHY do we accumulate so much stuff that we never use. Wanted to get rid of carpet and have hardwood flooring. It stays cleaner and is much easier to take care. Well they pulled the carpet and linoleum up and underneath was hardwood flooring that had never been finished. This house was built by my grandparents and I didn't remember what was on the floor. So there was 64 yr. old oak flooring that was better than anything you can buy now. They had to do a lot of sanding on it but it turned out great. Attachment 183157

Well it wasn't suppose to be sideways. LOL. Yes the bedroom curtains are camouflage. The spare room has curtains with deer on them. Living room has outdoor stuff on curtains. Shower curtain has animals on it. Curtains and shower curtain came from Bass Pro and Cabelas. Couldn't find anything I liked any where else. Went for a cabin theme. Figure it is the closets I will get to having a cabin. So we have a brick cabin.
