Something to talk about?
Kinda slow on here lately. Did see in someones post was asked about how he came up with his screen name for C.D.C. May get a few answers anyway. Mine came from our boat a few years back when we salt water fished a good bit. Out on Ten Mile Reef one morning and a dive boat came in and anchored up between us and the wreck. Well back then it just didnt set well with me:mad:. Got on the VHF and asked him in a unfamily sort of way why he did that. He asked me what buisness of mine was it. Well a few choice comments and he was told it was ofishlbizzness and we could get things right between us any time he wanted an appointment Well a few other boats in the area got in on it and asked him when his appointment was scheduled.:hatchet: He was a bit upset but pulled his anchor and moved on . The name kinda stuck with us.
How did you get your screen name ? Merry Christmas to everyone! :santa

my screen name came from some native American Indians in Tellico Plains Tennessee me and my ex father inlaw use to trout fish even in the winter months in Tennessee and I would always wade without waders even in the cold month because the cold water felt good on my bad knees so they started calling me streamwalker, all I did was take ea out and its strmwalker !!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR and most of all may they be BLESSED !!!:ThumbsUp

My screen name is "Ga" (the state) "bowman" (anything archery since that WAS my #1 passion when I was younger).

Good stories behind the first two screen names, I sorted put two and two together to figure yours out Butch. Mine is derived from my occupation. Looking for a unique screen name is actually quite difficult. One day while at work (State Newspaper) I came across an old article pertaining to old press operators. They referred to each other by their nickname "ink dabbers" I found that name catchy and suitable, it's been my handle ever since. I use it for email as well.

Well mine came from a nickname I've had since grammar school..."dawg" was always what i was called . It stuck all my life. So I just added my first name to it, and that's it.

On the old Crappie.com message board my user name was Cayman because I lived in Tega Cay and I'm not very imaginative. When the new board was set up you had to re register and somehow my user name ended up being my email address. I figured that was a bad idea so a emailed Ed and asked him to change it. I expected him to change it back to Caymen but all he did was eliminate the @-----.com from the email address so my user name ended up being my last name. Wish I had a more interesting story.

I have been called Bigdawgg for a long time by friends and co-workers. I wore Big Dog T shirts all the time and the name stuck to me. I also weighed in heavy which don't help the name either. My little dog a Pom is named Bigdawgg, that's his registered name. So it fits well for me and him. He's 21 pounds of love!Attachment 183128

I go by my middle name which is Ray. My first initial is C so I signed my name C. Ray so some of my buds started calling me SeaRay. I spelled it that way cause Cray is pronounced differently. Figured one day I'd get a call from SeaRay boats telling me I was being sued.
