jigged up a box full

got together with JW today to check out some new water in hopes of a few thumps, got to the first lake around 9:30 and fished until noon with only 1 big momma to show for , decided we hadnt had enough adventure for the day so we headed to our next destination, we were finally back in the water and drowning jigs by 1:30 and right away we were puttin fish in the boat, the bite was steady and keeper to cull ratio was about 50%, we ended the day around 4:30 with 34 and a few nice fish in the mix, all fish were caught on 1/8oz jig orange and pink heads and mostly 2" white /chart tubes fished 11ft deep in 12-17 fow Attachment 182917Attachment 182918Attachment 182919Attachment 182920 we also had a few contenders for the smallest crappie contest but i dont have any of those pics lol!! may JW can share those with ya,had a fun day it was a hoot even heard an ol hen turkey singin a tune off in the distance just before the sun set!
