Listening to oldies and finding some marabou I forgot about .Tied some Popeye flies too! Forgot how much I love tying ! Spending too much time with plastics now! Boy I went right to my happy place quick! Got to get back to the boss she watching Christmas movies. Merry Christmas to everyone here! Remember to unwrap Jesus in front of everyone this year! He is the best thing that ever happened to this ole sinner boy!
Looking good and for me tying is just what I love doing and thankfully what I started doing when I really needed something to do. Love the old music too and why I like the Satellite radio, plus we don't have hardly any station here, but Clasic Vinly and the Bridge do me well. Just throw in a little country and some 60's stuff and that is what I listen to.
also have not been in tying room since last Thursday because I came down with the crud and still kicking my tail.
Skip , I hope you feel better to close to Christmas! My gradaughter put Pandora on my IPhone and it is so cool. You have a favorite artist and they play all the similar stuff from that era, I was listen to Aretha Franklin and wow! The other music I had forgot came booming through! I did not go crazy with detail just tied! It felt sooooo good! To go to my happy place! Nw I'm off till the 5 th of Jan. Going to work on my dock ( on dry land now) then it's fishing. Our fish are starting to set up on the old river suspended on bait! It's long troll time!
Enjoying time at the vise is what it is all about. It still amazes me how fast time can go by while at the desk tying and add music it is hard to get any better. Nice set of tyes.

I am a big fan of 50's and 60's soul music along with the rock and all. Otis Redding was one of my favorites of all time. We had a lot of bands, very good one too that played that stuff across the river in Louisana. That was a hot place back then right along IH 10 and old Hwy 90 before IH 10 came in. Over there we could drink at 18 and really much younger as you hardly ever got carded, LOL!
