Fished 10:00 to 12:15. Caught 16 crappie, two bream, and a 2 pound bass. Nearly all caught on Bobby Garland Baby Shad in Monkey Milk. They were not interested in Gray Ghost today. Caught 10 feet deep in 12 FOW . No large crappie today. Average size about 10 inches.

Congratulations on a great catch for just 2 hours. I don't have any monkey milk, but I talked to a guy yesterday that told me he dyes the tail a chartreuse color and the crappie love it. Gotta get me some. I wonder what you get to dye the tail in?
Pastor, google search spike-it. You can get it in a bottle to dip or in a felt tip marker
I was using red jig heads. Don't believe that I have any chartreuse heads.Quote:
