What a nice day for a bash. Sure got lucky picking this date. The fish were most cooperative.1st place went to woodduck1956 with a 14" - 1lb 10 oz. 2nd place went to Donny with a 1lb - 9oz. 3rd place went to fishhead001 with a 1lb even. Thanks to all that attended, I hope to do the same thing again next year. I'll have to post some pics later, phone won't allow me to post pics:dono.

O K finally, a few pics from today's event. Minnows or jigs it didn't matter, they were HUNGRY today. I ended up with a limit. The winning fish went back to swim another day. Started this morning with a feeling that it was going to be a great day. The sunrise was spectacular with oranges, purples and reds. Got down to the water to see it slick calm. Went to a spot,1st cast and tick. FISH ON!!! 2nd cast same thing, then 3rd cast and BANG!!! Winning fish. Ended up with a limit of nice 11 &12" fish. Switched to minnows after they slowed on the jigs but pretty much non stop action today with a lot of dinks to cull out. All fish from off the bottom with a SLOW presentation.
Beautiful day to fish. Had a lot of fun and caught some good fish. Here's some pics from today. Including woodducks stringer. That man had them figured out.

Nice going everyone, those are some nice size fish and it looks like the weather was great.
It was a great day. I didn't get skunked but cat fish didn't count. And I got some big ones. Nice meeting all you folks from the north. Can't wait till the next one. Can we do one when the weather is a bit warmer?
