Battery???

Ok.....been several months since we been out but going tomorrow. Went out and put the charger on the starting battery.......12+ volts at full charge....ready to go. Hooked it up to the TM battery.......reading only a little over 6 volts at nearly 100% charge per the readout on the charger? The starter is 5 yrs old....never had an issue. Bought the TM new in March.....worked fine last spring, no issues recharging. Any ideas on what's going on? Have to admit, haven't hooked either up to the charger since sometime in May if that matters. ???? Scratching my head here.

Have you checked the water level in the battery? Voltage reading with a meter should be 13 to 14 volts. Years ago I used two six volt deep cycle batteries wired in series on a 12 volt trolling motor.

Swing by a auto store and have them load tested, unless you have one.
