Jackie I like those heads. What mold is that and what size eyes? That's what I have been wanting to try to make
Do-it teardrop (model JT-7-WBA)with with wire keeper 1/16,(1/8 and 3/16 oz ),1/4,5/16,3/9 and 1/2 (eyes) Molded 3d mad eye 3/16.I added the wacky jig weedguard!!! They will fit in mold no modification!!! Do-it Bat jig model( Bat-7-A)!! Use # 2 gold eagle claw(little nasty) hooks can bend with breaking and will fit mold!! (Need to heat hook up just a little before bending)(can heat up on side of lead melter before bending) (with Needle nose pliers)!!
Nice Jigs. I love to experiment with the molds also. A little imagination and sometimes we create so neat things. Are the jigs painted with one of the candy powder paints? I'll take a dozen of the dark brown ones on the blue plate please!!
Fine work as usual Jackie...have you fished the teardrop yet?tossin around the idea of getting that one the bat jig is on the way.
Looks great!
Yes have had this mold when they first came out!! We fish for Smallmouth on Greers Ferry,Norfork,Bull Shoals!! 1/8 oz and 3/16 oz!! Tubes(arkie)(2 1/2 in salty) greenpunkin and watermelon red!! trickworms!! The head makes the tube and trick worm stand up!!(smallmouth and kentuckies cannot stand it!! Pour #2 and #1 hooks with weed guard!! The weed guard helps flick the jig off of rocks(logs) fish think its alive crawdad!!! Cannot keep enough of these poured!!! Hope the smallmoth fishermen don't read this thet will kill me have won them a lot of money in the tour"!! Need to work on my camera work!!! have a good tutor don,t sink in this thick head very well!!LOL!! Love to tinker with molds!! and baits!!
It get's to become an obsession....hope you don't get in trouble for sharing lol.
