Old-timers' secret to increasing size of catch
We've all had those days when every fish is a dink. I learned long ago how to fix this situation. As a lad, we had no indoor plumbing. We went outside and primed the pump to get it started. No prime the pump, no water in the bucket.
This principle applies to fishing as well. Yesterday, I caught five dinks in two hours, while others were catching quality crappie. I told the guys about seeding the bucket (prime the pump). The next two dinks went into the bucket to get it primed. Immediately, the bucket started to fill with quality fish.
This is a proven method, as it has worked many times for both trout and crappie. Just ask the guys who fished CB yesterday. rotfl
ps Don't forget to release the two dinks before you leave.
