Darbonne

Anyone got a Darbonne report? This weather is crazy.

Whaaaaaaat?????? I was hoping you could tell me Chuck! Weather is weird though, keep wondering if we are going to have any consistant cold weather.

I fished around the Hwy 2 bridge yesterday and didn't do any good. Was trying to catch them by vertical fishing a jig. The fish were 15-16 feet deep. The people catching fish were using ultra lite rigs, fishing Bobby Garland Baby Shad with a split shot above the jig. I forgot to put my UL in boat, and was convicted that if they would hit a moving jig, I could catch them my way. WRONG ANSWER ! Sometimes it's not good to be hardheaded. After watching several people use the same method and catching some nice fish, I learned a good lesson.....three hours without a "bump" makes for a long day.

I started at hwy 2 bridge yesterday morning and moved on down the channel. Kept 5 that averaged over a pound. it was slow.
