Have you tried doing a reset?
No. Soft or hard?
Soft first. If you do a hard be sure to back up all your settings and waypoints.

I've had the same issue with an HDS5 and HDS7 from time to time. One thing that I've done other than a soft reset is to change my depth. Alot of times, the screen will say "auto" when in fact it is set to 100' or more. I will usually select another depth, and then go back to auto and it seems to clear up the issue. These are both Gen 2 models. I'll be curious to see if my new LSS2 will have any changes. Glad you got it fixed. I can deal with glitches as long as I know how to fix them
